Follow companies and contacts

In Bizzy, it is possible to follow companies and contacts. That way, you can ensure that you are always informed of important changes related to them. Useful feature when you want to go into a meeting well prepared or when you are in the middle of negotiating with a company. Follow a company, be informed about the latest changes and make a good (first) impression!

How to follow companies and contacts?

Companies

To follow a company, simply follow these steps:

Go to Search.
Search the company you would like to follow.
Open the company page.
Click on the star icon to Follow.

Tip: Can't find the result you're after in the search bar? Make sure you’ve selected the right country of registration.

Contacts

To follow a contact, simply follow these steps:

Go to Search.
Search the contact you would like to follow.
Open the contact page.
Click on the star icon to Follow.

Tips:

Can't find the result you're after in the search bar? Make sure you’ve selected the right country and the Contacts tab.
When you’re on a company page, you can simply click on a contact to open the contact page.

Lists

You can follow companies one by one, but it’s also possible to follow companies in bulk. You can do this by activating updates for companies that are part of a list:

Go to Lists.
Go to the list of which you want to follow all companies that are part of it.
Activate updates for this list by clicking on the little bell > Notifications enabled/disabled.

Note:

Following companies from a list is currently only available for static lists.
Only the creator of a list can receive updates about a company.

When will I get a notification?

Companies

You will get notified about the following changes for a company that you are following:

Change in the board of the company.
The company has been mentioned in the news.
New financials have been published and are now available in Bizzy.

Note: You will also get notifications of companies whose company page you have visited in the last 30 days.

Contacts

You will get notified when a change of position of the contact person has been mentioned in official documents, which will be the case when that person is part of the board of a company.

How will I get notified?

When there’s an update about one of the companies and contacts that you’re following, you will see it appear in your Bizzy environment in the notification tab:

If you didn’t log in to Bizzy and haven’t seen the notification, we will send you an email to make sure you are well informed. Your notifications will be bundled in an e-mail on Monday and Thursday with maximum 2 notifications and a call to action to check all the notifications on our platform.

Which companies and contacts do I follow?

If you want to have an overview of the companies and contacts that you are following, follow these steps:

Click on your user icon (at the top right corner in your Bizzy environment).
Select favourites.
Under favourites, you’ll see 2 tabs:
- Followed companies
- Followed people
Here you can easily find an overview of all companies and contacts you are currently following. To unfollow a company or contact, just click on the button that indicates that you are following the company or contact.
