Filter on Business model

Specifically looking for B2B or B2C companies? With our Business Model filter, you can easily search for companies that target a particular type of customer:

  • B2B (Business-to-Business): Businesses that provide products or services to other businesses.
Some examples: Bizzy, Jan De Nul Group, AbInBev, etc.
  • B2C (Business-to-Consumer): Companies that sell directly to consumers.
Some examples: Danone, bol.com, Vanden Borre

Use this filter to refine your search and find targeted companies that match your ICP.

How do we determine a company's business model?

Information about a company's business model is based on the content of the company website. By analysing the website, Bizzy can determine whether the company focuses on B2B, B2C, or both. This is done based on language models.

Some examples:

  • Hotels are by default classified as B2C companies, unless it specifically states on their website that they organise conferences. In that case, they are classified under both B2C and B2B.
  • Companies specialising in photo projections are seen as B2B, unless it is mentioned on the website that they also do photo projections for weddings, for example. In that case, we again speak of a combination of B2B and B2C.

Notes:

  • We can only determine the business model of companies with a website, excluding community associations, youth movements, etc. as these do not have a business model
  • We don't use NACE codes to determine the business model. This provides a more current and accurate representation of a company's real focus.

How to use the filter?

  1. Navigate to the Filters overview.
  2. Select Company > Activities > Business Model.

Note: You will also find a company's business model (if known) on the company page under Summary:
